The Hahn Foundation

The Albert G. and Grace Hahn Educational Foundation of the Indiana Hospital Association Inc.

The Hahn Foundation was organized and incorporated in 1960 to provide research and education in health care.

The funds established by the Foundation are as follows:

The TeKolste Forum Fund
The TeKolste Forum Fund was established by the Foundation during 1984 to account for activities relating to the TeKolste Forum. The forum is an annual educational conference held by the Foundation in honor of IHA's first chief executive Elton TeKolste.

Stella Scholarship Fund
The Ken and Cindy Stella Scholarship in Health Administration Fund was established in 2007.  When fully capitalized, the fund will provide two $10,000 awards annually to students in the Masters in Health Administration Program at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. The fund honors former IHA President Ken Stella and his wife Cindy.

IHA Hospital Employee Disaster Relief Fund
The IHA Hospital Employee Disaster Relief Fund was established in 2008. Following devastating floods in parts of Indiana, the IHA Board of Directors established a dedicated fund to help health care workers recover from future natural disasters.

The General Fund
The general fund is an unrestricted fund which is used to account for general operations of the Foundation. It can also be used to fund research on behalf of the association.
