Stop BSI Conference Set for Sept. 30
The first face-to-face meeting of the Stop BSI Collaborative is set for Sept. 30 in Indianapolis. Dr. Peter Pronovost and Christine Goeschel will lead the conference.

Participating teams of frontline caregivers and infection control practitioners will be introduced to the Quality and Safety Research Group Improvement Model including the comprehensive unit-based safety program designed to improve teamwork and safety culture, as well as a technical component which addresses specific clinical recommendations commonly referred to as the “central line bundle.”

Teams will also create action plans to help implement improvement tools. Project teams will also learn more about required data collection and submission and how to manage the project to effectively lead the change movement within their hospitals. Register now at www.regonline.com/iha2009bsi.
