Participating IHA member hospitals submit patient level inpatient and outpatient data via DataLink. The submitted data is used to create inpatient and outpatient market share and utilization reports distributed to participating IHA member hospitals .

In addition, hospitals can generate custom reports based on inpatient  and outpatient data using Dimensions software.

Both inpatient and outpatient data sets are available for purchase using the order form below. IHA enjoys data sharing agreements with most of the surrounding states. This allows Indiana hospitals to receive information on Indiana residents who receive care in bordering states. Actual charge for your order wil be calculated at .0125 cents per record, with a $150 setup and processing fee. Your final cost will be determined by the number of records in your data set.

Data sharing arrangements are currently in place with Illinois, Michigan, and Ohio. To obtain bordering states’ data, submit a data order form specifying the state, time period, and ZIP codes for market area sought. The data order form is available under IDS/OS Data Order Forms.
