Indiana’s Hospitals Commit to Improve Six Public Health Measures

Indiana hospitals have joined forces in an effort to elevate the state’s health status ranking. Hospitals have targeted six public health measures for statewide improvement. The selected measures include: obesity; smoking; adult diabetes; childhood immunizations; prenatal care in the first trimester; and self-reported poor mental health.

IHA's dedicated staff is working to create toolkits to aid in the improvement effort. Each of the toolkits will provide valuable information including data, treatment options, community action plans, tools for success, and a variety of other resources. Click on any of the toolkits below to learn more about making your community healthier.
