MHA PSO

A Patient Safety Organization (PSO) for Indiana Hospitals

The Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) is pleased to announce a Patient Saftey Organization (PSO) for Indiana hospitals.

IHA Proudly Partners with the MHA Keystone Center PSO

To deliver the patient safety and healthcare quality improvement services offered by PSOs, the IHA partnered with the Michigan Health & Hospital Association (MHA) Keystone Center PSO.

Urgent: Meet the Jan. 1 deadline. Join the PSO today.

If your hospital has more than 50 beds, you must be enrolled in a PSO or already have in place a similar evidence-based health care improvement system by Jan. 1, 2017 to meet new Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services requirements for Patient Safety Standards and QHP Issuers (§ 156.1110).

MHA Keystone Center PSO: Certified and Experienced

The MHA Keystone Center became a certified PSO under the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality in 2009. Since then, the MHA Keystone Center has successfully developed educational opportunities, safety improvements and data collection and analysis tools for more than 100 hospitals and health systems across Michigan. These efforts help health care leaders and clinicians share experiences and identify areas in need of change to improve patient safety and healthcare quality.
