​In the Indiana Medicaid Data Challenge, participants were challenged to develop innovative data analysis and data visualization solutions to spark interest in the first public launch of de-identified Indiana Medicaid data. 150 participants from 30 different teams convened in mid-October to reveal their work. Teams identified potential solutions in a number of areas, including access to mental health services and emergency department use. There is great potential in utilizing the Medicaid data in population health, and the Indiana Medicaid Data Challenge was only the beginning. Read more about the challenge.
