​​Last week, the American Hospital Association (AHA) released a data book on health care affordability, the latest members-only resource from The Value Initiative, an AHA member-driven effort to provide leadership, education, and resources to help hospitals and health systems advance affordable health care and promote value. The customizable slides include data on national health spending and affordability from the perspective of consumers, employers, public and private payers, hospitals and health systems, and community partners to aid in discussing the issue with hospital and health system employees, boards, and communities.   ​
