Last
week, IHA and the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA)
hosted a webinar featuring FSSA Secretary Dr. Jennifer Walthall and Medicaid
Director Allison Taylor on the changes to the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP)
following its three-year renewal.
They summarized the changes to HIP in three categories: 1) the substance abuse
treatment package; 2) a reduction in administrative burden; and 3) a
requirement to be engaged in community benefit through the Gateway to Work to
have continued eligibility for HIP. These changes will affect some of the
approximately 400,000 covered lives enrolled in HIP.
IHA
would like to thank Walthall and Taylor for their presentation. Access a
recording of the webinar here.
