Alliance for a Healthier Indiana Priorities Shared by New State Health Commissioner

The Alliance for a Healthier Indiana was created in response to Indiana's low health rankings. Alongside many partners, the Alliance is working to make Indiana a healthier place to live and work. Just this week in a interview with Inside Indiana Business, new Indiana State Health Commissioner Dr. Kristina Box detailed her top priorities for the state. Dr. Box echoed the priorities of the Alliance in her interview, mentioning each of its four priority issues: tobacco use, infant mortality, opioid abuse and obesity.
