Each
year, the IHA Awarding Excellence Program honors exceptional individuals
working in Hoosier health care. IHA's annual awards recognize the personal
achievements and outstanding contributions of health care leaders and
caregivers across the state. IHA is now accepting nominations for the following
2018 awards:
- Administrative Professional
Excellence Award: Honors individuals who provide outstanding support staff

- Patient Safety Award for
Service & Leadership: Recognizes an individual who shows exemplary
service and has gone above and beyond to improve patient safety within his
or her organization. Nomination Deadline: March 30 Nomination Form
- Patient Safety Award for
Innovation: Recognizes an individual, group or program that has developed
innovative ways to improve or encourage patient safety within its

- Douglas J. Leonard Caregiver
of the Year Award: Honors an individual whose performance in the delivery
of care is considered exemplary by patients and peers. Nomination

- Award of Merit: Recognizes an
individual (not a CEO) who has made a noteworthy contribution to the

- Distinguished Service Award:
Honors an Indiana executive who has made outstanding contributions to his
or her organization and the health care profession. Nomination
