IHA Seeks Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Quality Advisor to Assist with New Grant

​​IHA is hiring a tobacco prevention and cessation quality advisor to develop and administer the Health Systems Change Partnerships Pilot Program, which concentrates on tobacco dependence treatment and is funded through a grant from the Tobacco Prevention and Cessation Commission of the Indiana State Department of Health. The pilot program will assist hospitals in evaluating their current practices, implementing new practices, educating providers and patients, and ultimately integrating tobacco dependence treatment into the continuum of care. Qualified applicants will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience and progressive responsibility in health care, including leading teams in quality improvement activities. A master’s degree in a health care field and clinical background with recent hospital experience is preferred. Applications are due by Friday, Feb. 16.
