The Indiana State
Department of Health’s (ISDH) Division of Trauma and Injury Prevention has
invited three local health departments to discuss their successes and
challenges thus far with the naloxone kit distribution program on Jan. 9 from
10 - 11 a.m. ET. The program is a grant opportunity offered by ISDH which
provides local health departments free naloxone kits to distribute in their
counties to help combat the opioid crisis by focusing on overdose education and
emergency reversal. Webcast viewers will have an opportunity to learn best
practices established by those that have already begun to successfully
distribute kits to the general public.

tailored for local health departments as well as those interested in learning
more about naloxone kit distribution programs, services offered with the
