ISDH to Host Naloxone Distribution Program Webcast

The Indiana State Department of Health’s (ISDH) Division of Trauma and Injury Prevention has invited three local health departments to discuss their successes and challenges thus far with the naloxone kit distribution program on Jan. 9 from 10 - 11 a.m. ET. The program is a grant opportunity offered by ISDH which provides local health departments free naloxone kits to distribute in their counties to help combat the opioid crisis by focusing on overdose education and emergency reversal. Webcast viewers will have an opportunity to learn best practices established by those that have already begun to successfully distribute kits to the general public.

The webcast is tailored for local health departments as well as those interested in learning more about naloxone kit distribution programs, services offered with the distribution program, working with key community partners and more. Register for the webcast here.
