Medical Association (ISMA) is continuing its free opioid webinar series with
"The Opioid Epidemic: Impact on Peri-Operative Care." At the end of
this webinar, attendees should be able to:
Conduct candid pre-operative
discussions with patients about post-procedure pain to set expectations
and assess the risk for opioid misuse
Recognize the benefit of
using INSPECT as part of routine post-operative practice
Identify peri-operative pain
management strategies for inpatients and outpatients
Summarize ACS advocacy
efforts in response to opioid abuse
