​​The Alliance for a Healthier Indiana's State of Our Health Road Show kicks off with the State of Our Health Summit on April 13 at the Ivy Tech Community College Culinary and Conference Center in Indianapolis. Summit speakers include keynote presenter D'Anne Burwell, author and substance abuse prevention and recovery advocate, as well as a panel of health care and business leaders. The State of Our Health Summit is the first in a series of 17 town hall meetings around the state where local leaders, public safety workers, health care providers, and elected officials can hear about the Alliance's plans for 2018 and beyond. These plans include raising awareness of Indiana’s poor health rankings and sharing ideas about ways that communities can work together to improve Hoosier health. The Alliance is still looking for sponsors for the Indianapolis Summit and the State of Our Health Road Show, and the April 1 deadline is quickly approaching.
