​The Indiana State Medical Association (ISMA) is planning a webinar series on opioid prescribing beginning in October. Webinars will take place at noon on the third Thursday of each month. Topics to be addressed include Difficult Conversations with Patients Seeking Opioids, Appropriate Prescribing of Controlled Substances, Peri- Operative Protocols for Pain & Those Prone to Addiction, Addressing Opioid Challenges in Special Populations, Assessing Complex Chronic Pain and INSPECT.
