The Indiana State
Department of Health, IHA, and QSource have joined together to host a quarterly
patient education contest for all Indiana residents. The award winner for 4th quarter 2017 c. Diff contest was Noah
Vanosdol. Noah was presented with his award yesterday in Terre Haute at Ivy
Tech Community College. He is currently a student there. You can view the

Submissions are
still being accepted for 1st quarter
2018’s contest. Simply create a patient education material (brochures, flyers,
etc.) focused on Carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriaceae (CRE). This
contest is a great opportunity for you or your organization to highlight your
creativity and innovation contributing to infection prevention in Indiana. Up
to five finalists will be selected as winners, and winning submissions will be
featured on partner webpages and will be distributed within Indiana health care
facilities. Submit materials in either PDF or JPEG format via email to ACarlson@isdh.in.gov
