The Alliance for a
Healthier Indiana's State of Our Health Road Show kicks off this Friday, April
13, with the Indiana State of Our Health Summit at the Ivy
Tech Community College Culinary and Conference Center in Indianapolis. The
event is the first in a series of 17 town hall meetings
around the state where local leaders, public safety workers, health care
providers, and elected officials will hear about the Alliance’s plans for 2018
and beyond, which include raising awareness of Indiana’s poor health rankings
and sharing ideas about ways communities can work together to improve Hoosier
health. Featured speakers include D'Anne Burwell, mother and author of Saving
Jake: When Addiction Hits Home; Dennis Murphy, president and CEO of IU Health;
Dr. Kris Box, Indiana state health commissioner; and more. View the full agenda
for more details.
The event is free
and open to the public, but registration
