State of Our Health Road Show Stopping in East Chicago, Gary, and South Bend in May

The Alliance for a Healthier Indiana's State of Our Health Road Show continues its tour around the state this May, hosting town hall meetings in East Chicago May 1, Gary May 2, and South Bend May 3. Local leaders, health care providers, and elected officials will come together at each town hall to hear about the Alliance’s plans for 2018 and beyond, which include raising awareness of Indiana’s poor health rankings and sharing ideas about ways communities can work together to improve Hoosier health. A number of prominent health care and community leaders will be speaking, including Dr. Patrick Bankston, associate dean and director of IU School of Medicine-Northwest-Gary; Dr. Gerri C. Browning, health commissioner of East Chicago; Robert Krumwied, president and CEO of Regional Mental Health Center; Karen Freeman-Wilson, mayor of Gary; Dr. Mark Fox, associate dean and director of IU School of Medicine-South Bend; and more.

Registration is open for all three events, and partnership opportunities are still available. Learn more about the Road Show and view a list of its current partners on the Alliance website.
