The Indiana Patient
Safety Center (IPSC), in partnership with the Health Research & Educational
Trust (HRET) Hospital Improvement Innovation Network (HIIN), has launched the
third installment of its UP campaign--WAKE UP. The WAKE UP campaign focuses on
opioid and sedation management to reduce unnecessary sleepiness and sedation,
thus increasing patient mobilization and shortening length of stay. Resources
to address the issue and engage with the campaign are available here.
