AHA Urges DEA to Address Injectable Opioid Shortage

​​In a letter to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), the American Hospital Association (AHA) and other key stakeholders urged temporary measures aimed at addressing a shortage of injectable opioid medications used in hospitals, hospices, and surgical centers. Manufacturing delays have led to an ongoing shortage, creating a problem for patients and providers in numerous settings in Indiana and nationwide. Read more here. ​
