​​May 6 – 12 is both National Hospitals Week and National Nurses Week. Hospitals around the nation will be celebrating the hard work of their dedicated staff and the role they play in keeping our communities healthy. Both events coincide each year with Florence Nightingale's birthday, May 12. The theme of National Hospital Week 2018, "Caring Is Our Calling," highlights the commitment of every member of the hospital team, from physicians and nurses to food service workers and volunteers.
