​Franciscan Health and the Crawfordsville Fire Department have launched the Montgomery County Community Paramedicine program. Through the program, a paramedic visits patients at home to ensure proper safety features are in place, properly manage medications and set up patient appointments. The paramedic utilizes technology to share notes and medical documents with the patients' doctors. The Montgomery County Community Paramedicine Program is partnership between Franciscan Health, the City of Crawfordsville, and Montgomery County Health Department, Indiana State Department of Health, Montgomery County Community Foundation, Wabash College and the Women’s Resource Center of Montgomery County. Learn more.
