IHA Challenges Flawed and Outdated RAND 5.0 Report
The RAND 5.0 report was released earlier this week at the National Healthcare Price Transparency Conference in Indianapolis. The report ranked Indiana 8th highest in total commercial hospital prices between 2020 and 2022. Indiana's ranking improved slightly compared to RAND 4.0, in which Indiana ranked 7th highest; however, IHA continues to challenge the study's validity and methodology. IHA President Brian Tabor released this
media statement identifying the critical shortcomings of the RAND 5.0 report.
