​Donald Clayton, M.D. was recently appointed as president of Indiana University Health Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. Clayton previously served as interim president and chief medical director, West Central Region for IU Health. Dr. Clayton joined the Arnett Clinic as an allergist in 1980 following his postgraduate training in internal medicine and allergy and immunology at the University of Wisconsin. He was involved in leadership as a medical director from 1990-2001 and has served on the Arnett Clinic Board of Directors during a successful period of owning and operating an HMO, as well as leading the clinic to integrate with IU Health.
