Indiana Hospital Association’s Terry Cole Appointed to Medicaid Advisory Committee

The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) has appointed Indiana Hospital Association (IHA) Senior Vice President of Finance Terry Cole to the Medicaid Advisory Committee (MAC). Established under Indiana Code 12-15-33, the MAC provides public input and feedback on Indiana’s Medicaid program. Cole will serve as a provider representative on the committee.

The MAC serves as a forum for stakeholders, including providers, beneficiaries, advocates, elected officials, and citizens, to advise the state Medicaid agency on program policies and proposed changes.

“The committee plays a vital role in ensuring Indiana’s Medicaid program remains responsive to the needs and concerns of Hoosiers,” said Cole. “I’m honored to serve as a provider representative and look forward to contributing to the important work of strengthening health care for Indiana families.”

Cole oversees IHA’s financial operations and human resources while serving as the primary liaison between Indiana’s hospitals and FSSA’s Office of Medicaid Policy & Planning, and other payors. She has more than 35 years of experience in health care finance and has been with the association for nearly 10 years. Prior to her role with IHA, she served as Chief Financial Officer of MDwise, Inc. and held financial roles at Ascension and Clarian Health Partners (now IU Health).
