​Tasha Eicher has been named interim president and CEO of DeKalb Health, effective Jan. 1. Eicher joined DeKalb Health in 2015 and has directed a number of initiatives related to the hospital's strategic plan. She will continue her current position as vice president of physician services, strategy and development during the interim appointment. Eicher will replace Craig Polkow, who has accepted a position with a larger health care system in Southern Indiana. DeKalb Health has begun the process of selecting and naming a permanent CEO.
