The
Indiana State Department of Health's Division of Trauma and Injury Prevention
will host a webinar on July 17 at 10 a.m. ET about Indiana's statewide
toxicology testing program. The program, which requires state coroners to
perform toxicology screenings on any person suspected of dying from an
overdose, began July 1. The webinar will cover why this requirement became law
during the 2018 legislative session, why it is important, and some preliminary
findings. More information about the webinar, such as speaker information and
how to register, is available here.
