The Indiana Patient
Safety Center's annual Patient Safety Summit will be held June 5 at 502
Event Centre in Carmel, and registration
is now open. Speakers for the 2018 summit include:
- Regina Holliday,
participatory medicine advocate
- Debbie Fuehrer, mind-body
medicine counselor with the Mayo Clinic
- The winners of the 2018
Patient Safety Innovation Award and the 2018 Patient Safety Service and
Leadership Award
- Representatives from
Franciscan Health Michigan City and Indiana University Health Paoli
Hospital, both 2017 Patient Safety Award recipients

agenda. Registration is $75 per person, which includes lunch and beverages. Scholarships covering the cost of
attendance are available for three individuals from each hospital participating
in the AHA/HRET HIIN through IHA (each hospital's HIIN key contact has received
this scholarship code). For overnight attendees, there is a $145 group rate
available at the Renaissance Indianapolis North Hotel. Book by calling the
hotel directly at 317-816-0777; ask for the Indiana Hospital Association group
rate. This group rate is available based on capacity.
Nominations for the
2018 Patient Safety Awards will be accepted through this Friday, March 30.
