​The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued final rules this month for their Prospective Payment Systems that affect the quality measure reporting requirements for hospital inpatient services, including Value Based Purchasing, long-term care hospitals, PPS-Exempt cancer hospitals, inpatient rehabilitation facilities, and inpatient psychiatric facilities. IHA has updated the quality measures table to reflect the changes finalized in the rules.
